The story of our Warehouse & Plant team.
We are more than the Coke you know.
We are the ones who make solutions to challenges after challenges.
We pick, we pack. Our hard work it’s our heart’s work
The truth is our jobs can be pretty demanding.
«Actually, being a Forklift Operator is really a tough job. You need to be adequately trained, most specially in your actual driving, in the loading-unloading of cargo, that’s really where the challenge comes in. You need to avoid breaking bottles, causing accidents, running into things whatever would damage the property of the Company. And we need to release 100 pallets per hour. I love my job because I’m able to support my family and the Company as well» Erwin Tanucan, Forklift Operator. Davao Plant, Philippines.
«We also have truck bans, so our deliveries are limited within a specific timeframe. In the morning, we have a truck ban. The same goes for the evening. So we have to make sure that we’re able to finish our delivery on time during these specific hours. Despite challenges, at the end of the day, you get a pat at the back from your bosses telling you: Very good. Well done on your job. Though our job is hard, at least our job is completed. We finished it. We delivered what needs to be delivered. Also, your staff would approach to you and say: Sir, thank you for your guidance. Thank you for your direction. I’m proud to work at Coca-Cola FEMSA. » John Julios Ledesma, Warehouse Coordinator. Cebu Plant, Philippines.
«We need to be mentally alert in terms of decision-making, and we need to be equipped and technically skilled in terms of troubleshooting in order to assure that all machines run smoothly, to hit our targets, and to increase efficiency. I feel happy because we’re lucky, it’s a privilege to be part of the fastest running line not only in the Philippines, but in the whole world. Whenever I’m asked why I love my job, what prevails is that overwhelming feeling: the pride that I can take with me wherever I go, that I’m part of the investment of a big Company that continues to give happiness and smiles to us Filipinos» Michael Petinio, Production Technician. Canlubang Plant, Philippines.
What we do is not at all easy. But you see, what we go through,
we definitely grow through. And that’s rewarding.
It’s an aaaah-mazing job… No. Aaah-dventure!
And tomorrow, we’ll do it all over again.
We are the warehouse & plant operations team,
we are part of the makers & sellers of ‘the’ drink,
the drink that brings the people together.
Because here’s the truth:
We are more than the Coke you know.
Who are we?
We are the makers & sellers of the Coke you know.
